So the past week has been kinda crazy
I went up to New Paltz on friday, spent the night with Rachel and Mary and ran in to a whole bunch of people while causing chaos around the movie theater...im surprised no one came and told us to leave.
Then on saturday i had a shoot in upstate new york with my mom and and her intern, we were origionally asked to be there for only 2 hours and ended up being there for like 5ish.
Then back to Clinton's party for the night for much fun.
Then on the way out on sunday we realized that mary forgot her school books and cellphone in my trunk and was already on her way back to boston with jack. So I took Eva home, came back to my house for like 5 minutes then got back in the car and headed that way and stayed until just this afternoon.
Leaving is always sucky, but on a bright note im moving up into my appartment in Somerville on the 1st, which is a week from thursday.
I have another wedding with mom this weekend in eastern ct. should be fun, the couple is really nice, and its a small 2 day wedding.
and i really need to stop accidently hurting myself, so far ive done something stupid on a once per day basis since monday...... |

mood:  bored music: i cant even have music on....

my family goes to bed at like 9 (in tonights case my mom went to bed at 8:30) and because of the structure of the house she can hear every noise made anywhere in the whole house, plus she's a light sleeper. So after 9pm i have to stay cooped up in my room, and since i usually dont go to bed till 3 its gotten realllly boring.
Other then that ive spent the past 3 days repairing computer networks that seem to keep dying. Its been annoying as hell.
I realized that while it will be nice to be home, i'll only be able to be here for a few weeks before I will just have to get up and leave. Which works out ok since i'll probably be moving to Somerville around the 30th of June (If all goes as planned, which it probably wont)
I still dont have a car, but at least I have a whole bunch of work lined up, so at least i'll have money...eventually.

So finals start tomorrow. I only have two, Political Science and Macroeconomics. Thankfully being an art kid I was able to finish all my portfolio stuff last week for 2d design and photography so im all done with those.
On a side not the past like 3 days have sucked cause of this stupid sinus infection. yay for antibiotics? no.
Its almost time to leave ksc, a scary thought. i really dont wanna think about the fact that i'll never live here again. and of course doubting the decisions that ive made for next year.
I'm moving to Boston for those who dont know yet. I'm going to the school of the museum of fine art an living in Sommerville and actually moving out of Brookfield...
ksc has been really good to me, and part of me thought i would be here forever... |

So I was talking to Micah earlier tonight and we starting thinking and reminising about old school agt, the origional ones who we havent seen forever. so i desided to dedicate a post to the lost memories. its sappy and depressing, i know, but the more i thought about it the more i needed to do it.
An ode to summers of agt:
-To spending the summer in a tent
- The endless 90 degree games filled with capture the flag that you never wanted to end. Then thief game when the sun set.
- When everything was magical and innocent
- When being a pc was what we were used to, and when getting a minor spc role was exciting and made your day.
- When by the end of the week you could reconizing everyone by their voice. and you cryied when you had to leave and really ment it
- when you save up your money and count the days till wintergame when you would be able to see your friends again
- When everything was truely magical and we had no staff responsibilities
- Glow sticks and foam swords
- having to deal with that creepy nurse guy
- Talking the whole night after a game about what we just did
The point quickly became: the people that i miss and have lost contact with. I realize a summer like one of those will never happen again, which is sad, but not as sad as the thought of never seeing any of you guys again.
I want to say we should do something, but its not as easy as just saying so....
I miss you guys, I really do. |
